Hi there! I’m a 26-year-old from Mexico with a deep love for nature, sunsets, and meeting new people from all over the world.
I grew up in a small rural community, which taught me to value simplicity, hard work, and meaningful connections. Over the years, my passion for exploring the world and learning from different cultures has only grown stronger.

I’ve participated in four Work and Travel seasons in the United States, working in summer camps—two years in New Hampshire and two years in Pennsylvania. I gained hands-on experience in general maintenance and dining hall services, but more importantly, I made lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

I also completed my first Workaway in northern Germany, helping at a historic guesthouse project in the Ammerland region. My tasks included gardening and groundskeeping, cleaning and organizing spaces, basic repairs and painting, and helping document simple how-to guides as the house was renovated. I worked closely with the host’s family and a small friendly team, adapting to changing rooms and tasks as the project progressed.

Now that I’ve completed my master’s degree, I’m looking for new adventures and meaningful cultural experiences—and I can’t think of a better way to do that than with Workaway. I’m excited to contribute, learn, and connect wherever I go!

I'm fluent in English as it's my second language, but I'm always looking to improve and refine my communication skills—there's always something new to learn! I'm also very interested in learning new languages. Over the years, I’ve developed a wide range of practical skills thanks to my hands-on experience working at summer camps in the United States and growing up on my family’s farm in rural Mexico.

At the summer camps in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, I worked mainly in general maintenance and dining hall services. My maintenance tasks included painting, mowing lawns, basic carpentry (like fixing doors), plumbing repairs, and both indoor and outdoor cleaning. During my time in Pennsylvania, I also worked in the kitchen and dining hall, helping with meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning refrigerators and dining areas, and taking out and compacting trash.

Back home in Mexico, my parents run a small farm, and I’ve been involved in farm life since I was a child. I have extensive experience working with animals—especially cows and sheep. I know how to milk cows, feed and care for livestock, and create a safe and healthy environment for them. I also have experience in planting and harvesting crops like corn, from start to finish.

I’m not afraid of hard work, and I genuinely enjoy outdoor, physical tasks—especially when they involve animals or nature. I’m reliable, hands-on, and always ready to learn new things!

What else ...

I love hiking—being surrounded by nature makes me feel alive and at peace. As a hobby, I also enjoy photography, especially capturing beautiful landscapes that often look like they belong on a postcard. I’m passionate about music and love discovering new songs from different cultures. In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy books and young adult novels—they allow me to escape into new worlds and spark my imagination.
