Ciao! My name is Beatrice and I'm italian.

I'm new to workaway, that's why you won't see any review yet! I wanted to travel a bit differently and get out of my comfort zone trying this approach so here I am!

What about me? I have an insightful and reserved personality but I'm also very passionate, altruistic and creative! I'm an avid book and comic reader (bit of a nerd sometimes), a musical enthusiast, an animal and nature lover and I absolutely enjoy travelling.

Despite being almost 30 I still have no idea what to do with my life: I tried with university but it didn't work so during the past years I've been hopping from a temporary job to another, trying to investigate what I might appreciate doing most. After babysitting, volounteering, working as a waitress, translating and scanning documents, I worked at a book shop and kinda settled on that area: but it's not easy and after a year of civil service in the public library system of Milan I decided that I can pretty much do what I did till now but in New Zealand. Also the age for the application for WHV is about 30 so the clock was ticking...

I'm planning to visit New Zealand, as I've been there as an exchange student 12 years ago and didn't have the chance to get around the South Island, which I'd love to.

I'm great with children, good at cooking and don't mind more strenuous works. My family happens to have a small vineyard near Verona that belonged to my grandad and I've grown up loving the countryside, picking fruits and doing various tasks around the garden. Also I'm open to learn.

I am a person with excellent organizational autonomy, problem solving and time management skills. I consider myself highly collaborative, flexible and versatile. I am very empathetic and a good listener.
I might look like and indoor person since I love reading etc, but coming from a big city as Milano I'm quite happy when it comes to nature, hiking and open air activities.

I hope to meet interesting people and work on stimulating projects from which I can learn new things! Or just be helpful while visiting around!

I've done mainly office jobs but I'm quite good at manual works.
Love painting and drawing I think i have an eye for details and I get immersed in what I do.
I can cook quite well, bit messy around the kitchen but I always clean up afterwards.
I'm good with children, babysit for a long time and i'm very caring, funny and creative.
Can focus well, always on time and will finish what I started.
