Hello there, I’m Anu from Germany.
In April I dropped out of university, moved out of my apartment and quit my job indefinitely to fulfil my dream of traveling the world :) I've spent the last six months in the Balkans in east Europe and did several different volunteer experiences which I loved. Now I'm in South east Asia, currently in Thailand, and I'm looking forward to volunteering in different projects here:)

In the next months I want to explore and gain an understanding of different countries. I hope that I will be able to meet new people, experience new things as well as improve my language and interpersonal skills!

I enjoy being active in nature, go for a hike or spend time with my animal friends. I like pottery and painting and would love to improve my skills in other crafts. My favorite part of my journey so far have been the amazing people I met along the way! I feel so lucky that I get to live the nomad lifestyle now:)

I hope that I can profit from my previous work experience as well as improve my skills!
I have previous experience taking care of children as an au pair in the USA for 6 months and I worked on a horse farm for 10 months. I’ve been caring for horses for more than ten years and I volunteered at my local animal shelter, mostly with the rescued dogs.

I have also worked as a bartender, a waitress and receptionist which allowed me to develop my communication skills and personability, which I believe are my most important abilities:)

I am currently volunteering in a hostel and enjoy this experience a lot! Meeting new people is definitely my favourite part of this journey:)

I enjoy cooking new dishes and sometimes spend hours in the kitchen to try new creations. But what I like even more is sharing my food with friends, because it’s not fun to only cook for yourself:)
I also play Volleyball and am always looking for people to play with:)
