I am a joyful, adventurous and creative spirit who finds happiness in discovering and experiencing new places, people and cultures. I am motivated by a lust to discover the world and be exposed to all different walks of life, as I have found this can be one of the best sorts of education. I am also motivated to seek to be a part of groups and communities who share in the idea of helping one-another and building foundations of friendship, compassion and kindness.

I find happiness in being in nature and all natural ecosystems, in music, family and friends, hiking, art, skiing, cooking and food, fashion, and many other hobbies I am yet to try. I also aim to find happiness in simplicity; living a peaceful and uncomplicated existence yet equally being grateful for it.

This is my first time on Workaway and I can’t wait to get involved and make some amazing memories in amazing places with amazing people!

Growing up bi-lingual has always sparked my interest in eventually learning other languages, and being able to speak Spanish opens up a lot of other prospects in learning other Latin-based languages as well. I would also be open to teaching either Spanish or English as well, I am always up for a new challenge and I would love to pass on the importance and gift of learning another language to someone else.

I am confident, passionate and determined in most aspects of my life, qualities I always aim to bring into the workplace. From growing up in Spain and moving to Australia I have learned adaptability as well as fluency in English and Spanish. I have also been travelling for the past 10 months around Europe and the UK, and that has given me a whole new skillset in problem solving, time efficiency, organisation and most of all remaining calm and positive in time of crisis.
I have dipped my toe in a few different work environments that have given me a diverse range of experience; from working in ski fields to on a ferry, I enjoy being thrown into new ways of working/living. Most of my job experience involves customer service, as I love being able to engage with the public as well as working in a team that creates a happy and efficient work environment. However, I am also a quick learner so I am eager to gain more experience in different fields to learn new skills!

I consider myself a very open and easy-going person, therefore I am interested in trying just about anything. I have a range of interests and hobbies such as painting, reading, walking and running, thrill seeking activities, writing…there are also a multitude of skills I want to learn such as pottery, gardening, to play the drums or guitar, jewellery making, caring for animals, farm work, carpentry, and many more! I hope Workaway will help me flourish and extend my hobbies as well as picking up plenty more!
