Hello there!
We are Thea (29) and Alex (25), a couple from Denmark longing for the mountains and looking to learn more about sustainable living in accordance with nature!
We met while studying anthropology and visual anthropology respectively, and are curious on people and the world around us, seeing ourselves as quite the free spirits. We really appreciate the small moments and take life’s challenges as they come day-by-day. We enjoy seeing the beauty in the small and unfathomably large things – a beautiful leaf, clouds, delicious food, stars, music and dancing - and having long-winded thoughts and conversations about all the big and small aspects of life, humans, spirituality, society or nature.
We enjoy being physically active, and are always ready for an adventure in the forest, a hike, dancing, or sports. At the same time, we love days of doing nothing and chilling, lying in the grass in the sun, playing chess, and listening to music.
In becoming closer to nature, we hope to find the possibility for a better and brighter future. We truly believe in the potential for mankind to overcome the global climate crisis, but to do so we need to adapt to a less extravagant and excessive lifestyle, where we live in symbiosis with the planet rather than it merely being a resource. Having had the privilege of growing up mostly in the city, we see Workaway as an opportunity to come closer to nature in our daily lives, and experience a more basic and grounded lifestyle.

Throughout our Workaway experiences we would love to learn everything about living in closer contact with nature and in more sustainable ways. We're very curious and engaged when presented with new things and would like to be part of and help with any projects or tasks that you're up to during our stay. We like working in groups, and always try to bring and sustain a good vibe and energy.
We also enjoy cooking, and would love to help out in the kitchen and production of food products etc.!
