My name is Aleda! I have been living in Portland, Oregon, USA for the past 5 years working at a nonprofit. I am going to be travelling to New Zealand from Nov-April and so excited to visit the country that I've heard wonderful things about! I am eager to spend quality time in places around the country to get to know the people and places that make up New Zealand.
I love the outdoors- hiking, backpacking, running, kayaking, sailing- you name it! I also love to read, play games, go to concerts, cook, explore new places, and getting to know people from different around the work.

-I've spent the last four years working in an environmental communication nonprofit as a project manager. I have extensive skills in project management.
-I've gained skills with working with plants from working at a greenhouse.
-I have experience working in a winery during harvest season.
-I have skills from growing up in a rural community and environment- helping out with odd jobs around the home, helping raise chickens, helping weed gardens, cut and stack firewood, cooking, pet care, etc.
