Hello everyone! I'm Amanda from the USA, and I have been traveling and teaching English in Europe for the last five years. I'm hoping to assist with a WorkAway to meet some new people, explore new places and hopefully learn some new skills while helping with a fun and interesting project. I'm spending the next five months traveling and teaching online and would love to mix up my schedule with some volunteer work here and there. Looking forward to meeting you!!!

I'd like to start by saying I love to learn new things and that I am a fast learner! I hope to help you and pick up some new skills at the same time!
I've been teaching English as a foreign language for six years (grammar, business English, general English, travel English, bits of everything!).
My dad taught me about wood working and we had a workshop in our basement, so growing up I've made tables, chairs, etc.
We have a family cabin that always requires some repairs, so I have experience with painting, remodeling and some construction. I'm comfortable using different power tools, hammers and saws.
I am able to garden and harvest different fruits and vegetables.
I recently taught myself to knit :)
I can cook all types of food, and particularly enjoy cooking fish.
I can speak some Spanish, and just started studying Latvian.
I have years of experience nannying children ages 2-15.
