Description

Reinou and Adam met doing international medical work and now live in Alaska. We have two boys (age 8 and 5) and are looking to travel for two months each January and February to explore new places and break up the long Alaskan winters.

We have a cat, 4 chickens and recently lost our beloved old retired sled dog, Avalanche. Reinou is an Ob/Gyn and Adam used to work as a surgeon in conflict and disaster zones. We both have a degree in public health. We love exploring new places and meeting new people. We are planning to take 2 months off each winter to travel with our boys to various locations around the world. Aside from traveling we hope to work on projects that will be useful. Reinou was born in the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch.

What else ...

Since moving to Alaska 7 years ago, Adam has taken an interest in fishing, Reinou has started doing yoga and learned to play the harp, and we are all avid hikers. Adam has also improved his culinary skills and would be happy to help with cooking.
