  • Description

    Hello! I'm Yuma Koyama.

I was born and raised in Japan, originally hailing from Kobe, a beautiful city known for its stunning sea and mountain views. I currently work in Tokyo.

I have a deep love for traveling in nature, and I even had the unique experience of living in Mongolia for a period. My passion is capturing the dogs of the world on my film camera. I'm also deeply drawn to marine life, and have been fortunate enough to swim with marine mammals like whales, dolphins, and dugongs.

My creative interests include movies, books, and the art of field recording (capturing natural sounds). I may be a little shy, but I am endlessly fascinated by the stories people carry. I believe every individual is a collection of amazing narratives, and I'm eager to hear yours.

I'm excited to meet with you!

  • More details about your skills

I am very capable when it comes to household tasks.

Since I have previous homestay experience, I can happily assist with chores while enjoying time together with the family. As a dog lover, I am also happy to help with dog care.

While I do not have prior farm work experience, I am a fast learner and committed to seeing a task through once I am taught what to do.

I am proficient in Japanese and English.

Furthermore, I also have experience caring for children, as I supported children's camp activities during my university years.

  • What else ...

I am pleased to share that I have secured a new position, and I have decided to spend the several months between jobs traveling. Since I prefer to travel like a local, I was thrilled to find this wonderful opportunity for a farm stay during this precious window of extended leave!

It is quite rare to take several months off from work in the typical Japanese employment environment, making this an especially valuable chance for me.

I am confident that I can be a great help to you, as I am highly patient, and have a deep love for both nature and animals.
