Description

Being in nature makes me incredibly happy! So does being creative, diving into new cultures, colors and crafts. I’m at the end of my BA studies of communication design where we were given the freedom and privilege to explore whichever creative path we felt passionate about. With every tool I use, material I chose to work with, it’s all about telling and sharing stories, creating beautiful experiences and building diverse communities. I worked in exhibition design for a couple of years, designing and creating realities for the stories the exhibited objects wanted to tell. I’m pretty familiar with handling different carpenter tools, constructing etc. Quick and eager to learn:)

I’m a sunshiny human being with a hands-on approach: I would love to jump right into Portuguese land and culture! Being outside, getting my hands dirty, learning about different ways to live, laugh, cook and cultivate. I’m looking for projects and people to share my love for nature, movement and creativity.
Last year we founded a creative collective with six students from Uni: product, Interface and communication design with various backgrounds. In a former fiberglass factory we renovated a space where we now paint, build, make music, photograph, do utopian workshops and talks, party of course or paddle and swim in the next door river.

Right now I’m all about textile design, filmmaking and surfskating:)
For my BA project I started to do a zeitgeisty version of a German tradition called “Walz”: Walz are the years men did/ sometimes still do after finishing their education in a traditional craft (eg carpenter): They are spending three years traveling, working in different workshops and studios to refine their skills, learning about new cultures etc. I'm no dude but I sure love the whole approach! So I'm bundling up all my passions: Nature, creativity, design, gardening, surfing, skating, meditation, being adventurous, spontaneous and filming a documentary about it all, intending to continue this project my whole life in different countries.

I am a very easy going, naturally open and curious person, happy to just get started.
During summer I often spend long times traveling by bike with or without friends, exploring new lands, meeting strangers, connecting with nature and people at a "slow" pace.
