Description
Travelling farming family. Veterinarian and agronomist with two children 7 and 8 years old. We have extensive experience farming, milking cows, goats and sheep. Rearing calves and goat kids. Animal health treatments and sanitary calendar. Ezequiel is specialised in bovine reproduction, artificial insemination, and general animal husbandry. We have experience driving tractors with front and back implements like bucket, fork, post rammer, mulcher, hole drill, seed/fertiliser spreader, silage wagon, etc. Gardening, general maintenance, chainsaw work, etc. Extensive experience building fences, water systems, electric fences. Knowledgeable with solar panels, regulators and batteries. Some experience with vegetable gardening, compost and fruit trees. As a couple, spent 6 months in Cameroon looking after rescued chimpanzees in the rain forest at Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Center. Worked 2 years as a couple in a Dairy Farm in New Zealand, can provide references. With the children, worked 2 years in own property in Buenos Aires, Argentina, fixing fences, wooden pens, water systems, troughs, managing the herd of cows, pasture rotation planning, fixing the house and had a vegetable garden. Also had bee hives and harvested honey.
For the past 4 years, we have been travelling on our sailboat. This wonderful chapter of our life is coming to an end and we want to settle in the area surrounding Bariloche. We need to live at least half an hour from town so the kids can go to school. We have been boat schooling all these years and now we want them to have more stable friends.

More details about your skills
We are an Argentinian family of 4 travelling on our sailboat. Ezequiel (43) is a veterinarian and Virginia (41) an Agronomist. We homeschool our 6 and 7 year old boys, which demands 1 or 2 hours a day. We both have extensive experience on farming. Milking cows and goats, help delivering calves, kids and lambs. Doing sanitary treatments like deworming, fixing hooves, mastitis, general injuries, eye infections, etc. Organising grazing rotation.
Building and fixing fences, water systems. Carpentry abilities. Some experience with vegetable garden, composting and fruit trees, though would love to learn more. After 3 years of living and travelling on our sailboat, from Buenos Aires to the Caribbean, we are looking to have a break during the hurricane season. We love to work the land and are missing getting our hands dirty. We want to give our children one more experience of working the land and taking care of animals.
As a couple, we have worked side by side on a Dairy farm in New Zealand during 2 years. Volunteered looking after Chimpanzees in Cameroon at the Sanaga-Yong Chmpanzee Rescue Center for 6 months, in the rainforest with no electricity, cellphone reception nor running water. Can provide references. With the children, we have worked on our own beef cattle property in Argentina, for two years, doing all sort of chores and maintenance.
