Description
I want to create a better future in any way that I can, and I'm hoping to find like-minded individuals to share ideas with. It's time to get our act together as a species, and I can't think of anything more rewarding than taking part in inspiring projects that are a step in the right direction. I wish to live a materially simple life, filled with laughter and long conversations about the nature of reality and the absurdities of the world. Having an ordinary life is out of the question for me, feeling as if society tried to force me into a box where I had to suppress parts of myself in order to function. Now I know that the box was all mine, created out of fear of being left out. It's time to do something different, to embrace the unknown. Leave the path of struggle and go towards fulfillment. Doing work that makes sense to me and not just giving up my freedom for a paycheck. The best things in life really are free, human connection, creativity and the beauty of nature. Check those three boxes and I'm stoked to be alive :)

More details about your skills
I've always built and fixed things, often with limited tools and materials. Like turning a kitchen into an art project using only salvaged materials and paint. All my jobs have been mostly practical even though I studied to go to university. I tried studying environmental science but got bored after a few months. Sitting still is a pain for me anyways so I just started working. I learn by doing, and I'm interested in many things. Too many things to walk a straight path in life. It's good when you want to help a friend or when your car breaks down, but it makes it hard to find fulfillment in the routines of modern life. I did general maintenance for a while and it was quite a nice fit for me, fixing loads of different things and learning along the way. It was good enough for a job but at the end of the day I felt pretty disconnected from my work, wishing I could build a village with my friends instead. I would love to be appreciated for being multifaceted but it's a challenge in a world where being an expert in one thing is valued the most. I want to do lots of different things and to be able to put all my energy in to one project until it's done, not being tied to a schedule where giving it your all puts you on the path to burnout. I have a great work ethic but I feel as if it has just put me at a disadvantage, exerting myself to get something done only to put the bar too high for myself for it to be sustainable for 8 hours 5 days a week. It feels kind of strange being this honest about how I operate, but also very freeing. I know the right people will understand :)

What else ...
I'm always down to try new outdoor activities, and I'm not afraid of being cold, tired, hungry or dirty. The right type/amount of uncomfortable is the most comfortable for me, I feel like it forces you to live in the moment.
