Description

Hi, I’m happy when I move, either be walking, cycling, dancing or juggling. I laugh a lot! I prefer to spend time in nature, that’s why I’m travelling by bicycle at the moment. I find myself very curious and explorative, everytime ready to learn and meet people. Proffessionally I work as a primary school teacher, creating a joyful and committed atmosphere. But I’m also an artist, engaged in performative arts (contemporary circus, street theatre), filmmaking & poetry. I like to improvise and walk around with open eyes.

As a teacher I focus on outdoor, art and sport education. I’ve been working in primary school In Slovenia for 7 years and made my first steps teaching in Finnland, where I lived for 6 months. I have a license for a mountain guide and swimming teacher.
Besides teaching I’ve been taking part in contemporary circus and theatre productions at the festivals in various countries for last 7 years. I was teaching circus and theatre skills in Slovenia, Spain, Morroco, Senegal & Madagascar.
I speak fluently English, German and Serbian language beside Slovenian, but I ‘ve been studying French, Italian and Finnish too.
I create short films and some have been shown at the festivals abroad. I also write blog, short stories and poetry, that I regularly publish in magazines and on radio.
At home I grow my own vegetables. I love to cook, photograph, edit my website. I know how to repair my equipment and bike while I’m travelling. I dare to go out of my comfort zone. I consider myself hardworking and motivated for numerous kinds of activities.

What else ...

For years I’ve been a dedicated rock climber & ski tourer. I did solo paraglading and just recently I started to scuba dive (SSI Open Water Diver).
Beside being a teacher I am a forestry engineer (University level), but for years I’ve been focused on outdoor education; forest pedagogics, mountaineering, wild food workshops, gardening, outdoor classrooms …
I love to travel. I spent a year travelling around the world (Africa, Asia) with my girlfriend. We did circus and theatre on the way. In July 2023 I started a long-term solo trip by bicycle from Slovenia towards India. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Trees are traveling slowly, my moto says. I would like to stop and work on the way to get involved in everday life of people. I appreciate genuine exchange between locals and a traveller. I believe, we can give, appreciate and share.
