Description

We are looking for our next adventure, hoping to absorb opportunities up and down the UK, as well, we are happy to settle somewhere, there is no plan :)

We both have experience of living in communities, and are hard workers; both of us are horticulturally trained with a passion to one day have our own smallholding, to offer our experiences back to future generations. Tom is a keen guitarist and drummer, while Katherine enjoys pottery and cooking. We enjoy the outdoors; walking, swimming, bird watching and foraging and are always keen to learn more and share our findings.

We are currently living in our van (Dorothy) working in a community in Somerset, with some plans to head for France/Italy in April.

Unfortunately we are only fluent in English, but would love to learn a second language, Tom has made a very small start in learning Italian. If we spend a long time in one country I would make an effort to at least learn the basics of the language.

We both have experience in growing plants, having always worked in horticulture. Tom has Chainsaw and machine driving experience, tractors, diggers telehandlers and forklifts etc.. Katherine, having taken a landscape design degree enjoys planning and community projects.

in our downtime, we both enjoy journalling and reading. Tom plays drums and a bit of guitar, and Katherine enjoys pottery when she can and embroidery.

What else ...

We are very interested in sustainability, ecology and the natural environment, and whilst travelling would like to be able to spend time immersed in nature.
We also enjoy socialising and meeting new interesting people, and will be happy to visit new cities, especially if there is any chance of seeing concerts and live music!
