Description
I am from Canterbury, which is in the southeast of England.
I was not yet ready to dive straight back into education, so last year I decided to save up and take a gap year to travel for 10 months.
I am fascinated by the variety of cultures that exist. I love to meet new people and hear their life stories, and immerse myself deep into new cultures. I am a very active person, which means I like to be on the go, whether it be exploring new areas or meeting new people or animals, for that matter.
I have volunteered in Sri Lanka, where I taught English for two weeks, which was an experience I will treasure. I also volunteered at a turtle conservation project for the following two weeks.
I love to experience adrenaline rushes and have bungee jumped and skydived in New Zealand, which was incredible.
I have a keen interest in Muay Thai, where I am now captain of the Warwick Thai Boxing Society, where I study Philosophy with Psychology at the University of Warwick.Interests

More details about your skills
I am a very hands on person I was in the British Army Cadets for two years where I gained a variety of skills such as navigation and the ability to work well as a team.
I have completed my bronze, silver and gold duke of Edinburgh where I was able to demonstrate my leadership skills. On the last leg to the final checkpoint when the weather was miserable I encouraged other team members to continue and seeing them cross the line brought joy to me.
I have volunteered for a year at the Children's Trust shop in the Uk where we raised money for children with neurodisabilities.
Others recognise myself as being extremely hands on and willing to engage with whatever work needs doing.Age

What else ...
I love martial arts. I have practiced Krav Maga for five years and so the discipline and mindset I have developed from this has have a prolific impact on my day to day life. I have also done Muay Thai for the past year and a half of my life where I attended a camp at Diamond Muay Thai for 4 weeks last June which was an incredible experience, and furthered my love for Thailand.
