Australia - from Feb 2024 until Aug 2024 View allDescription
Hey guys,
my name is Tim (25 years old from Germany) and I really love adventures, which is the reason for my stay in Australia! Here I've planned to do a 'Work & Travel' for a time period of 7 months starting in February, where I want to explore the breathtaking landscape as well as the unique wildlife of Australia. Another main emphasis is to learn a lot about the Australian culture and the people living there. According to this I thought 'Workaway' would be the perfect foundation to get in contact with Australian people as well as international Work & Travellers, with whom I can connect.
Furthermore I'm a positive dude, who loves to laugh and has a nice work attitude. Jokes are welcome! In Germany I have successfully completed my studies, which means I'm a structured and tidy guy. So if you are giving me a task, I'll do my best to solve the problem and support you physically and mentally!
Looking forward to meet you!
Greetings, Tim :)Interests

In general I'm an enthusiastic and passionate worker. I love being outside, so some gardening isn't a problem. When I still lived with my parents, I supported my father weekly with gardening. I have a great passion for dogs (and animals in general), which means that going for a walk would be a pleasure.
In Germany I just finished my study 'Water Management' and now I can proudly call myself 'Master of Science' after approximately 6 years of (more or less) hard work. In addition, I did several internships, which gave me practical reference. For example, I worked at a sewage treatment plant, where I had to deal with some gardening tasks too. Furthermore I was employed in adminitration, where my work was more theoretical, but also included some field work regarding groundwater. So if you need some advice about that topic I may not be an expert, but maybe I can help.
Although I'm not a good craftsman, I really want to improve my skills on this. This doesn't mean that I don't have any experience (e. g. I built all of my closets and furniture myself when I was moving), but in fact it isn't a lot. I'm looking forward to expand my skillset!
I love a good working atmosphere in which we support each other and treat each other respectfully :)Age

What else ...
I love being around people and have some good deep or funny conversations. While I was studying I discovered my passion for board games (for example 'Activity' or 'Code Names'). I like all sorts of ball games (I played soccer for 11 years and basketball for 5 years) and I'm very musically (I played drums for 11 years). In addition, I would describe myself as a really good dart player and I've been practising for over 7 years now. So lets start a match! :)
In Australia I want to learn to surf, if you are a good mentor just hit me up! Furthermore I want to try Bungee Jumping and Skydiving for the first time, if there is a good opportunity. Also I'm very interested in doing hiking and camping trips to explore the country.
Looking forward to collect some unforgettable memories! Some more information
