Description
For the past few years my happiness has come from the variety of my experience. I spent two years in a van around Canada working everything from big companies at hotels, ski resorts and tree planting to small groups in tour guiding teams and construction crews. Through this I have searched for people and ideas that challenge my world views and give me a fresh perspective. For the rest of my time my passions are a melting pot of art and sport. On cold, wet days I cross stitch, crochet, play piano, bake sweet things and dance to my music. On the other days I explore the world through mountain running, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, bike touring and of course more dancing. Before travel I studied engineering and I wish to use my technical fascinations to eventually build my own project. But first I am looking for inspiration. I want to be around free thinking people who are trying to do something different and I want to help others to achieve their vision.

I have experience with basic power tools and building processes from my time on construction sites and in workshops, this is mostly with wood and aluminium materials but I have had some exposure to concrete and hard metals from my studies. University also covered electronic and software skills so I have some familiarity with computer programs and systems. My recent seasonal work covered areas of housekeeping, hotel maintenance, tour guiding, restaurant serving/food prep and fruit picking (cherries, kiwifruit and olives). If any of these skills could be put to good use I am happy to help:)
