Description

My name is Star, I am a nature loving, yoga teacher and occupational therapist from London, looking for an opportunity to explore another part of the world.

I love the opportunity to get stuck into a project involving nature, cooking (I cook vegetarian and vegan food), plants and agriculture, or looking after people and pets/animals.
I am very interested in off-grid living and permaculture related or eco- projects.

As a nature lover- I have a home full of plants and have taken on a project to landscape my garden space recently which I have enjoyed. I am also generally a handy woman- I love finding new projects around my home from painting and decorating, sanding door and re-varnishing, addressing small electrical and plumbing issues or doing minor mechanical jobs on my bike. I also have a full driving license and would be very happy to help with any driving related tasks.

My skills lie in teaching yoga, therapy and care, advertising for classes online, working in nature and cooking.

I have worked as an occupational therapist for the last 10years in both health and social care, so have a lot of experience providing therapeutic services for vulnerable and disabled people.

I have also worked as a yoga teacher for the last 4 years- mainly specialising in Hatha, but also teaching vinyasa and I am qualified to teach yin yoga on top of this.

I have additional skills in cooking vegan food and plant care. And have also done some pet sitting and house sitting in the past.

I am also an avid DIYer! I love getting my hands stuck into a project and have done some electrical and plumbing renovations in my flat, as well as flooring and painting.

On top of this I love crafts, art and creating new things. I have made art work, knitted and crocheted clothes and gifts, and can sew.
