  • Description

    Hey there!
    I am Oskar.

Following rainbows, catching bubbles or sitting by the campfire. Life is wonderful if you let it be. Lately I've learned to appreciate the little things that happen to us all the time, usually without us noticing.

In my free time I enjoy playing the guitar or the piano, while singing along. It creates the feeling of apricity in my heart. Or I listen to Spotify, which I likely also do, while I am doing other chores at home or at work. I am always up to learing about new artists and getting to know new music!

For the last couple of months I've been working as a waiter at the lovely 'Katzentempel Leipzig Mitte' which is a vegan cat restaurant in the inner city of our hometown Leipzig. It's a cozy place with eight adorable cats, delicious food and lots of happy faces.
Besides the cats at work, at home I live with my own set of sweet and cuddly cats (Edda and Milla).
Tho the place I am working at is a vegan restaurant, I personally am vegetarian and try to keep up a healthy diet.

Most of my summer holidays throughout my life, my family and I spent camping with a tent, which was always a fairly nice experience. The feeling after everything is build up, prepared and it's time to relax in a hammock, reading a book /and potentially getting sunburned >:( / is purely superb.
In the last summer holidays we changed it up by a little bit and rented a campervan, with which we traveled through the Scottish Highlands, a sheer beautiful area, filled with colossal hills, blue'ish glittering streams and green flourishing moss, from which the fairytalelike mood arises.

I enjoy cooking and have been preparing meals with "Hello Fresh" (a company, which packs all the ingredients and a recipe for you) for four months by now.
I love playing board or card games and it would be an honour to play some of the classical german card games with others.

    Fun fact:
I've been going to classical dance lessons for four years by now and I've completed the gold-star course of which I am kinda proud. :)

And Hi from me as well!
    I am Emilie.

I am always trying to see the bright side of things and it is my goal to gain as many good memories as possible. I treasure the little moments, such as a nice walk through the nature, a movie night with my friends, or a conversation with my Family. Overall I enjoy those things the most, that I can share with my loved ones. Wether it's big parties or small gatherings.

Something else I truly enjoy is spending time with children. Last year I got the chance to help out an amazing family in the Netherlands with their three children (aged 2, 5, and 10). And i spent a lot of time playing and caring for my younger cousins (10, 7, and a set twins who just turned 4). Therefore
I am of course also aware that dealing with children can take quite some patience. Nevertheless for me the happy moments are absolutely worth the stressful ones.
Wether it's playing a boardgame, reading a book, playing football and hide&seek or just getting creative with Legos, I will enjoy every minute of it. Some of my best memories are definitely with the children I mentioned, their little laughs are just too contagious.

At the moment I am helping out at the "Tafel", which is a non-profit organization that distributes food to those who struggle with money. There I mostly sort out vegetables and put them into bags for the customers. But really I just help out wherever I am needed at the moment, that can also be cleaning, taking care of the trash or reorganizing the boxes. It's really rewarding to know that my voluntary work there does not only help giving people access to enough food, but also saves a lot of food that would go to waste.

Oh and I am happy to share my home with my sweet dog Musetta! In contrast to Oskar I am more of a Dog-Person, but I honestly love all kinds of animals.

We recently graduated from school and would be able to give tuition in German, English or Maths. Towards the end of our time at school we did a short internship at an educational establishment where we mainly helped out with garden tasks like cutting bushes, weeding flowerbeds or building an improvised stairway.

Furthermore we both know the basics of cooking, are creative when it comes to problem solving and are able to use technology. We enjoy being around animals and taking care of them, including feeding, cleaning or just cuddling and playing.

Emilie generally enjoys creative work, such as sewing, embroidery or handiwork with paper, while Oskar can teach music and is extremely patient and determined to finish his work.

Either Way we both are open to learn new things and are adaptive to new kinds of tasks.
