Description
Hello! I am currently a student at the University of Geneva studying sociology and sustainability. This will likely be my last true 'summer break' and so I have decided to go all out. I would like to bike across different destinations in France, with three goals: practice my French, get my hands dirty with ecological farming practices, and find some cool people/communities along the way.
My plans are a little bit delayed because I was not quite sure what I would be doing this summer, so I plan to set out in July and return to Geneva in early-mid August.
Other than that, I enjoy just about every mountain sport (particularly when I can share it with someone else), music, cooking, philosophical discussions, etc.

I love gardening, though I have only done it on small scales on my balcony or back home in raised garden beds. In general though, I am a good observer and quick learner - I can likely handle any gardening task that is thrown my way, and thrive when given the ability to observe and experiment with natural landscapes. I would love to learn more about ecological farming practices and native species.
I love to cook - particularly vegetarian meals. I often experiment in the kitchen to use ingredients that need to be used (sometimes it turns out great, sometimes not). I would love to learn more about seasonal cooking and better ways to cultivate "farm to table."
I have grown up with dogs and have experience caring for other small animals. I have some experience with woodwork too, but its limited and always been under supervision. Finally, I am a native English speaker and have experience teaching/tutoring children in English.
