Description
Hi Everyone! We are Sarah and Maxime, a Franco-Iranian couple looking for new life experiences. We find Workaway an amazing way to connect with people and nature and learn new skills. We can help our hosts with woodworking and carpentry, renovation projects, farming, taking care of animals, gardening, cooking, language learning, DIY, and more.
Sarah's Last experience with Workaway dates back to before Covid (2019) and was in India. She helped hosts in India in different ways. For example, when she was staying with a nice family in Jaipur for Diwali she shot some family videos, in Dehradun she helped her host with gardening and In Ayodhaya she shot photos and made videos for an environmental NGO, Then she volunteered at a beautiful school in Faizabad with lovely staff and children and helped them making school library more colourful as well as helping in English classes.
Sarah is a language enthusiast. She speaks Persian (Farsi), English, and French and loves language exchange.
Max has taken care of animals in South Africa (from Horses to Elephants !) and has his hands in making things with wood whenever he finds the opportunity. He has made our kitchen and some furniture that we have at home by himself.
He is always open to learn any manual skill and is a quick learner (thank you, YouTube).
His passions are all things related to tech, space travel, and science fiction.
We live in Paris, France. We love travelling and exploring new places, so every chance we find, we try to see a new place. We hope we get to see you somewhere in the world and share a part of our life experience with you.
