Hi, we are Milena and Samuel. 😊
A Germany couple who are volunteering around the world. At the moment we are in Hawaii on Big island afterwards we will travel to Canada May to June through the Rocky Mountains (at least that's our plan at the moment). Our final destination is New York City.

We are inspired getting to know the cultures, foods and customs of the individual countries as to meeting many interesting and lovely new people on our way.

While volunteering in the past we made different experiences in ecological farming and working in tourism as to teaching English.

Learning new languages feels like connecting more with the community and culture itself. We are eager to learn new skills, that might also challenge us, on our journey.

We love spending time in nature but also enjoy seeing new cities and villages. As well as finding new passions.

More details about your skills

We grew up in the country so we have no problem getting our hands dirty. From gardening, chopping wood, harvesting to household chores such as cooking, baking and cleaning, we carry out our tasks dutifully. We love animals and both grew up with dogs and cats. We are also very good with children.

Samuel (21): I have completed training as a precision mechanic and can therefore work very well with metal. My father taught me a few things like working with wood and leather. I prefer to work outside in nature.

Milena (20): I grew up in South Africa and Germany and was therefore raised bilingual in English and German and I am happy to teach this. I have also always been fond of many different animals such as dogs, cats, birds, etc. because my mother worked a lot in animal protection and is an animal health practitioner herself. I love nature and enjoy traveling a lot.

We learn quickly and are eager to learn new skills and experience new and different activities.

We are excited to meet new people and make memorable experiences on our way and maybe even life long friendships.

We love foOd! Researching and appropriating cuisines from other cultures is a great passion of ours.

Maybe we'll see each other in the near future.
