Hey! I'm Sam I'm a 23 year old from the Massachusetts (US) I love adventuring, working, and playing in the outdoors. I graduated from college in 2024 with a degree in Outdoor education, and since then have been working seasonally teaching and exploring.
For half the year I work as an instructor at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, leading backpacking and canoeing expeditions mostly with youth. This past winter I lived and worked in New Mexico and taught snowboarding. I love snowboarding, backpacking, helping others connect with the outdoors, and spending time outside my comfort zone. In my 23 years of life I have somehow never left the US, and I am incredibly excited to start my international travel journey by doing some meaningful work. I am generally easy going, but also enjoy good hard work towards a meaningful goal. I am eager to meet and learn from new folks, be immersed in beautiful new environments, and have fun and make people laugh along the way.

Bachelors degree in Outdoor Adventure Leadership with a minor in environmental studies. Expertise in outdoor education, facilitation, expedition planning and risk management.
Fluent english speaker.
Landscaping/ Arbory: 3+ years working for an arborist, acquired skills related to tree care, pruning, woodchipper operation, basic chainsaw use, and lots of laboring in the outdoors. I've also grew up doing a variety of landscaping projects for family, neighbors, and friends.
