About Us 🌍✨
Olá! We are Samira (22) and Philipp (23) – a kind, reliable, and curious couple from Würzburg, Germany. This summer, we’re excited to travel through Portugal, meet wonderful people, and contribute in a meaningful way. WorkAway feels like the perfect opportunity for us to combine travel with purpose and connection.

Who We Are 🤝
I'm Samira, currently in my final semester of Social Work studies, soon writing my Bachelor's thesis. Alongside my studies, I volunteer with the water rescue service and have spent many years as a youth and children's sports coach. I recently completed a practical semester working in a child and youth psychiatry unit, gaining deep insight and experience working with children and teenagers.

Philipp is a trained computer scientist with a strong technical background and a big passion for IT. He’s also been coaching swimming for several years and shares my calm, open-minded, and friendly nature.

What We Love 💚
We’re active, outdoorsy, and always eager to explore new things. Whether it’s hiking, jogging, swimming, or diving into a good book – we enjoy life’s simple pleasures. We've been traveling together for several years now and have been living in our own apartment in Würzburg for over two years. Through our experiences, we’ve become flexible, responsible, and great team players – qualities we look forward to bringing into our time with you.
