Hi! I'm Rossalie and nice you made it to my profile :)) Ive joined Workaway for many reasons, but the main one is this: Learning and sharing life with others as much as possible. This comes in many different ways. From working in a garden or walking the dogs, to exchanging recipes and stories from where we come from and what formed us as people. I'm Forever motivated to share skills and meet incredible people on beautiful places. These are the experiences I believe will shape us, and will also improve how we see ourselves in a more sustainable world, both socially and ecologically.

If someone needs help in practising English or Dutch, I'm motivated to help! Dutch is my motherlanguage and English I use as a second language as I speak it on a regular basis. My bachelor studies were also completely taught in English, thus, when it comes to academic writing skills for example, I could also give specific help.

I'v finished a BA in Arts and Culture, thus, if you'd like to talk about interesting related topics, im a 100% up for it :) My skills lie with interracting with people, I like interviewing, teamwork and especially learning by practising in the field. One of the reasons I turn to Workaway :)
I have experience when it comes to backpacking, and sports like rowing, sailing,yoga and boxing (still beginner there). Outside of that Ive worked in the gastronomy for quite some years and thus am familair with its workings. I also work in an outdoor backpacking shop and specialize in hiking gear, so if you like these kinds of things I've got lots to share! Love learning from nature. Beside this, I like practising arts such as drawing and painting, and thus creative assignments are something I'd love to practise as much as possible!

If you would find me somewhere its probably nearby the water or in nature. I'm always up for a swim or a beautifull hike somewhere! What I would bring on these occasions would probably be a book and a great lunch. Those are two other hobbies of mine. Through reading Im able to experience so much more in life, and especially in combination with good food, im the happiest on earth! I love to cook and experiment, especially when it comes to kitchens that are far from related to my own (not a big fan of Dutch food). Outside of this, I love music and dancing on it while cooking, singing along a little. And I'm always up for a night painting or drawing :))
