Hello hello!
I'm Suvi from Finland and I decided to go on a trip. Yes, after graduating from a University of Applied sciences with a Degree from Sustainable development last autumn, and then staying on a my old job, I decided to take a trip. For about three months, 'cause who knows when I get to have this chance again. I have travelled for longer periods before but that was some time ago. So, this is kinda exciting, going on my own again.
I am passionate about sustainability, nature, conservation, animals and equality, just to mention some. I like living in smaller towns opposed to big cities, being around animals and staying in the forest which is a good place to breathe. Nature does a have way of calming you down and putting things into perspective. I like history, museums, making puzzles, solving puzzles (trying to be kinda DIY-type person), excercising, reading books and doing sudokus.
What I am looking forward from this trip is exploring new places in the nature, meeting new people, learning new skills and just learning to get by. I have done Workaway on my previous travels and I had really good experiences before, so I came back to it. I really am looking forward to this trip and maybe I am putting too much pressure on it to be great, but come on trip with warts and all. :)Interests

More details about your skills
I have a degree in Sustainable Development and in the future I especially would like to work in a field that focuses on circular economy or diodiversity, but is is an interesting field with many interesting aspects.
I have worked as a cleaner for several years, especially cleaning households. I have had different kind of cleaning places from very clean to very dirty places, and I have basically seen and smelled everything. Just to say, I doubt there is anything that I wouldn't do.
I love working with animals. I am usually the person people ask as a dogsitter. I worked in a wildlife center in Belgium several years ago. We mainly handled birds; like in the summer we treated younglins and in the winter we had some oiled birds. I have also worked in a doggy-day care and an animal shop. I also started doing some volunteer work with animals around where I live.
When my dad build our summer cottage, I helped around there too with whatever easy task I could, like painting, carrying things...
I like working outside, doing physical work and I would especially like to do my Workaways in farms. There I could do handywork and take care of animals. Like one of my previous experiences I did on a farm in Germany, where they had several horses, and I basically mucked out, and I liked it. I would be helpful around the farm doing odd-jobs, helping around and maybe learning a skill or two. I would like to learn about permaculture, renovating, sustainable gardening and just about any practical handywork you can learn. I hope to get to do some dirty work, because I'm bringin my wellies. :)Age

Very self driven dilligent worker and when not given a specific task, she will find something that needs doing on her own accord.
It was an absolute pleasure to have her here, she is welcome back anytime, even though she did beat us in card and board games. 🙂
