I am a 32 year old aeronautical engineer, originally from London but now taking 6 months off to travel. I am travelling to Brazil and wish to use Workaway for opportunities to experience a different side to the country. I am very interested in living and working on a farm, having previously done this for 1 month when I visited Colombia in 2019.

I am passionate about learning new skills and going on new adventures to broaden my horizons and embrace new cultures.
I enjoy hiking and exploring the natural world, listening to all kinds of music, meditation, sailing, cycling and reading. I LOVE cooking and trying new foods from all over the world.

I am searching for all types of volunteer opportunities to be close to nature, to embrace new cultures and languages, to meet local communities and give back to the countries that I am travelling within.

I have a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering with a variety of mathematical and problem solving skills and a strong appreciation of science and the natural world.

I consider myself to be a strong communicator and leader. I have previously worked on a farm picking fruit and caring for animals as well as with children tutoring English. I have a lot of outdoor and watersports knowledge and skills.

Other skills and passions include manual labouring, cleaning, cooking, project and people management, leadership, the environment and sustainability.
