Hey, my name is Ricardo, nice to meet you (:

I'm a curious and easy-going dude planning to live his 20's to the fullest. I've recently quit my job to pursue what probably is my most ambitious goal so far: taking a full year off working as a freelancer and traveling the world.

I spent 4 years working as a data analyst at Amazon and now I'd like to make a transition into a Data Science career. Since it's a very technical field, my original plan was to take a few months off to build a portfolio and then start applying for jobs. However, I figured that this is a good opportunity to also put into action another plan I had in mind which is to travel the world and leave an impact by volunteering and engaging with non-profits.

I'm hoping to visit at least one country in each continent and spend 12 months away from home, exploring new cultures with locals and experiencing things that would never be possible if I stayed in Brazil.

I'm also seriously considering documenting this experience through vlogs and posting them on a Youtube channel. My goal is to create a community of people willing to invest in their own personal projects and help them adopt strategies to turn those ideas into reality.

Among my interests, triathlon is one of my main hobbies and I have just finished a half Ironman race, a huge milestone for me.

I love to read about behavioral science and psychology, but have slowly been developing a taste for sci-fi and fantasy books as well.

In my free time, I often go on a hike with friends or find any excuse to be in nature.
