🌿 About Me
Hi! I'm Raphaëlle, a French traveler full of curiosity, energy, and a love for nature, learning and sharing experiences.
I recently spent time in Scotland, wwoofing (https://wwoof.org.uk/fr/user/1417818) on two different farms (two weeks each), and I absolutely loved it. Being outdoors, doing physical work, learning with my hands, and living alongside others—it just felt right. Whether I was planting vegetables, working with animals, or helping with repairs, I felt at home.
I'm a hands-on person with a practical mindset—I like solving problems and figuring things out. I’m reliable, conscientious, and I always aim to do things properly. At the same time, I enjoy working in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with some good laughs along the way.
Even though I enjoy farm life, I’m also interested in:
- Helping in hostels or guesthouses
- Participating in community or creative projects
- Supporting eco-living initiatives
- Cooking, cleaning, painting, organizing, or helping with daily tasks
Before starting this travel journey, I worked for 6 years as an engineer in the field of sustainable urban planning, including 2 years as a team manager. This experience strengthened my sense of responsibility, organization, and communication—all of which I now bring into every new adventure and volunteering experience!
Right now, I'm planning to travel and volunteer in Ireland, hoping to discover new places, meet people, and share fun experiences.
Looking forward to meeting you!Interests

More details about your skills
I'm a hands-on and practical person, and I enjoy learning by doing.
I grew up in the countryside, where I often helped my parents with gardening, DIY jobs, and general house maintenance—so I’ve always felt comfortable working with my hands and being outdoors.
More recently, I volunteered on two farms in Scotland (two weeks each), where I took part in:
- Outdoor physical tasks : planting, weeding, harvesting, composting, feeding animals, cleaning stables, scything ...
- Daily life tasks: cooking, cleaning
In my personal life, I’ve often had to do manual work and maintenance, such as painting, small repairs, moving materials, and building simple things. I’m not a professional, but I’m resourceful and like figuring things out.
I also worked as a receptionist/hostess, which helped me develop strong people skills, a sense of hospitality, and the ability to stay calm and helpful in busy situations.
Some of my key qualities:
Reliable and conscientious: I like doing things thoroughly, not just quickly
Practical and resourceful: I enjoy solving problems and using common sense
Sociable and adaptable: I enjoy working with others and adjusting to different routines
Fluent in French and English
I’m especially interested in projects related to sustainable living, eco-construction, animal care, or community-based initiatives—but I’m open to many types of work. I’m here to help, learn, and share good energy!Age
