Hello, my name is Rani. I am 23 years old and live in Belgium. I’ve been studying law for the last five years as I’m very passionate about human rights, equality and international (criminal) law.

Having been behind my books for a long period of time, I have developed a strong desire to discover the beauty of this planet. I have lived all my life in the same town, which I love, but now I want to expand my impressions of this big world. I want to be amazed by landscapes, sunsets and nature in general. I love to hike, spot animals and capture moments on my camera, so I can relive everything afterwards by making photobooks :)

I'm looking for rather quiet places because it fits my energy-level. Big, loud and busy cities can overwhelm me a little bit, especially when I'm solo travelling. If it's worth seeing, however, I will take my chances :-D.

I only travelled to European countries or countries closeby (like Turkey and Egypt). Although there's much more of Europe that I would like to see, I'm dreaming of going beyond and experience completely different ways of living and immerse myself into it.

I prefer to stay with locals as much as possible for me to get to know the culture at its finest. I would like to volunteer as much as possible and I have a strong preference for working with animals.

Professionally, I've obtained a master of laws and am currently working on European projects concerning one's rights of defense and other aspects of criminal procedure law.

I have experience working with animals (dogs, cats, goats, chickens etc.) both in my hometown and abroad. I also volunteer for a non-profit association that takes care of stray cats.

Besides that, I like photography, dancing and art of any kind.
