Hello,

I have been on holiday in Mallorca twice a year for 12 years. Until now, I preferred agroturismos and whole fincas for rent. Each time I change accommodation several times to explore the island more easily. Now I also want to be active with the nice side effect of saving some money.

My main wish is petsitting or general animal care, but I also know all kinds of gardening up to cutting down trees. I like dealing with animals and taking care of them, they give me the best balance to the stress in my job. I have a lot of experience with donkeys - 2300 km of donkey trekking in France and for 8 years I have been looking after a donkey on a small horse farm near my home. There I also take care of the existing 7 horses and give myself plenty of time to keep them company and cuddle them. And I have decades of experience with dogs and cats.

I am fit and strong. Apart from the Spanish language, I don't necessarily have to learn anything new, it's enough for me to just help out. I use translation apps on my smartphone, so fluent conversation should not be a problem.

I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. However, I like to use alcohol for cooking. The only drug I consume is black tea.

I am always on the island with a rental car. I only need breakfast, which I prepare myself (bread, butter, jams, warm milk, cornflakes and fruit juice). I don't eat anything at lunchtime, so there is more time for activities. In the evening, I usually go out to all kinds of restaurants.

For extensive pruning work in the garden, I could bring an electro-hydraulic pruner. You have pruning shears and loppers in one and can work super efficiently. I can also bring good gloves, for example for working with prickly plants. I am used to working with many machines in the garden and am curious to operate new ones.

I am a coach for badminton, aikido, stick fighting and sword fighting. I photograph and film at a semi-professional level, have a lot of experience in photo editing and edit my films with Magix Video Pro.

Llevo 12 años veraneando en Mallorca dos veces al año. Hasta ahora, prefería los agroturismos y las fincas enteras de alquiler. Cada vez cambio de alojamiento varias veces para explorar la isla más fácilmente. Ahora también quiero ser activo con el agradable efecto secundario de ahorrar algo de dinero.

Mi deseo principal es el cuidado de mascotas o de animales en general, pero también sé todo tipo de jardinería hasta la tala de árboles. Me gusta tratar con animales y cuidarlos, me dan el mejor equilibrio al estrés de mi trabajo. Tengo mucha experiencia con los burros - 2300 km de caminata en burro en Francia y durante 8 años he estado cuidando un burro en una pequeña granja de caballos cerca de mi casa. Allí también cuido de los 7 caballos existentes y me dedico a hacerles compañía y a mimarlos. Además, tengo décadas de experiencia con perros y gatos.

Estoy en forma y soy fuerte. Aparte del idioma español, no tengo que aprender necesariamente nada nuevo, me basta con ayudar. Utilizo aplicaciones de traducción en mi smartphone, por lo que una conversación fluida no debería ser un problema.

No soy fumador ni bebedor. Sin embargo, me gusta utilizar el alcohol para cocinar. La única droga que consumo es el té negro.

Siempre estoy en la isla con un coche de alquiler. Sólo necesito el desayuno, que me preparo yo mismo (pan, mantequilla, mermeladas, leche caliente, copos de maíz y zumo de frutas). No como nada a la hora de comer, así tengo más tiempo para hacer actividades. Por la noche, suelo salir a todo tipo de restaurantes.

Para los trabajos de poda extensos en el jardín, puedo llevar una podadora electrohidráulica. Tiene tijeras de podar y podadoras en una sola y puede trabajar de forma súper eficiente. También puedo traer buenos guantes, por ejemplo para trabajar con plantas espinosas. Estoy acostumbrado a trabajar con muchas máquinas en el jardín y tengo curiosidad por manejar otras nuevas.

Soy entrenador de bádminton, aikido, lucha con palos y lucha con espadas. Fotografío y filmo a nivel semiprofesional, tengo mucha experiencia en la edición de fotos y edito mis películas con Magix Video Pro.

More details about my language interests
A better knowledge of Spanish would be helpful, as well as Portuguese. As I have a talent as a trainer, I can certainly teach other language skills. Otherwise, I use apps for translation on my smartphone. This allows for fluent conversation in many languages. --- Un mejor conocimiento del español sería útil, así como del portugués. Como tengo talento como formador, sin duda puedo enseñar otras habilidades lingüísticas. Si no, utilizo aplicaciones para traducir en mi smartphone. Esto permite conversar con fluidez en muchos idiomas.

Puedo realizar una serie de trabajos manuales, eléctricos, de albañilería, de alicatado, de tratamiento de materiales, de montaje, de pintura y, en general, soy hábil en el uso de herramientas y máquinas eléctricas.
