  • Description

I am a 24 year old artist from the UK who hopes to one day do a masters degree in art phsycotherapy. I volunteer every week at an art therapy studio in Bristol as a studio assistant while also managing a harbourside bar and cafe.

I'm a very socialable, open, charasmatic person who loves quality time with friends and family.

I thrive being around people, meeting new people and exploring new places and cultures. I wanted to travel after finishing my undergraduate degree but due to covid restrictions my plans changed - I'm ready to get back to it!

I have always wanted to go to New Zealand because my uncle moved there when he was my age and never left! I can't wait to do something new and different and see where my time in New Zealand takes me.

I also absolutely love cooking and passionate about using locally sourced in-season products!

  • More details about your skills

I am an avid crocheter - I never leave the house without a ball of yarn and a hook!

I studied Fine Art at Univeristy of the Arts London and during 3rd year specialised in textiles. I have taught crochet workshops, most recently during my volunteering role at the art therapy studio. The members of the studio are all adults who have a range of mental health and physical difficulties ranging from autism to schizophrenia.

Before my current volunteering role, I volunteered at a young persons mental health charity in Bristol. I worked with 11-25 year olds who needed help getting support for their mental health.

I am now a manager of one of Bristols busiest harbourside cafe and bars and biggest breweries. I manage and support a team of 16. I have worked in hospitality for years in London, Bristol and Kent.
