Activities we are interested in:

First ever trip to KTM soon. We are looking for a host for the first 10-14(ish) days to help orient us to the new culture, as well as a space where we might give back to Nepal in our own small way.

Description

Namaste, We are Evan and Riley and are so excited to be taking a month to explore Nepal in September. We want to come and learn, see, and absorb as much as we can. With that, it is important to us that we are able to give back in some way to the places we visit. We love learning about and meeting new people, and spend the rest of the time in the mountains, which is why Nepal is so high on the list of our destinations. We are hoping to learn about people, history, culture, religion, food, art, as well as spend a some time in the Himalayas. We are easy going, prefer to travel with a loose plan and improvise along the way.

Riley- Experienced artist. I have good experience taking care of kids of any age and enjoy spending time with them. My professional background is running small businesses, specifically service, so I am very comfortable working with the public/new people. I work at a local coffee company helping out in the warehouse and directing events. (roasting, production, management).

Evan- Trained engineer and builder. I have a degree in engineering and I design homes for my income right now. I can help with any building or gardening project you might have and love to share my skills in design, engineering, or mathematics.

We are both good listeners, and always keeping an eye out for what needs doing and willing to work hard always with a smile. We don't have anything specific we would like to give and are just as happy to help clean or do dishes as we are anything else. Of course we are always looking to try new things and above all are here to learn and listen as much as possible.
