Hi there! We’re Peter (Danish, 30) and Ida-Lee (German, 31), a friendly couple embarking on an exciting journey across Japan. We’ve recently left our jobs to fully embrace this adventure.

We’re flexible, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a variety of tasks — whether it’s cleaning, DIY projects, gardening, organizing, IT/computer, or exchanging language and culture. We’re excited to meet new people, immerse ourselves in Japanese traditions, and make meaningful connections along the way.

Our journey so far:
We began our Workaway experience in Myoko-Kogen, where we helped with housekeeping, preparing ski lodges for the summer season, and renovating a local pizza shop. After that, we spent time in Tamba-Sasayama assisting with daily tasks at a traditional Japanese home, mainly focused on cleaning and some basic gardening. Most recently, we worked at Snow Nest Lodge in Sapporo, where we supported housekeeping operations.

We can’t wait to share stories, skills, and smiles with our hosts in Japan! 😊
