Hello everyone! Lovely to meet you, my name is Pete - I'm one of those creative people who studied film, loves a bit of DIY and making things. I've travelled a fair bit but when my brother told me about WorkAway I realised I'd be missing something all these years. I'd love to help out, express my creativity and learn more about other cultures - this platform is quite an eye opener and I can't wait to work away :)

What else ...

At heart I'm a bit of a nerd. If we can talk about gaming, tech or design then I'll probably be able to talk non-stop. I like to chat about philosophical subjects, not that I know any specialist information but I really appreciate introspective thinking. To expand a bit of the description I love a creative project. I really feel in my element to have creative control over something and I'd love to chat about project ideas you might have - perhaps something we can both work on?

For hobbies I love to go bouldering and I feel like I'm ready to go from indoor gym to the great outdoors. I dabble a bit with guitar and used to play a bit of piano. I'd like to get back into music but then again, I'm happy to get distracted with a new favourite hobby! A few years ago it was pottery and before that it was glass work (lampworking and glass slumping).
