Hello! It is lovely to meet you :)

My name is Patricia, but my friends here in the UK call me Pat. I am 25 years old and a future lawyer in London (in September 2024). I am very excited to take this year to fulfill my dream of living and working in Japan!!

There are so many things I love, but traveling has always been my favorite thing to do. I love learning about other cultures and their customs, I love seeing things I have never seen before, and most important of all, I love making new friends. I like manga and anime (my favorite are: Jojo Bizarre Adventures, Mushishi, and Naruto). I like doing yoga, preferably in the morning in a picturesque location. I like playing basketball, reading science fiction novels, and talking to chat GPT :D I am a cat and a matcha latte person. I work hard and I always try to find the silver lining. Finally, I am friendly and easy-going, always happy to talk about serious and not so serious things.

More details about my language interests
I am keen on teaching English. I have previously been teaching English to Polish students (private tutoring). I have knowledge of business and legal English so I can translate or teach this kind of vocabulary and language use. I can also share my knowledge about the United Kingdom (England specifically) if anybody would be interested. :) I can also teach Polish as I am fluent in this challenging but interesting language.

I have two degrees in law (bachelor's and master's) from British Universities (the University of Liverpool and the University of Law in Manchester). I am currently working as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm in Manchester. I am fluent in English Including business and legal English) and Polish. I am learning Japanese at the moment and my level is now basic. I have very good computer skills as well.

I have 3 years of experience in bartending, waitressing, and retail. I have worked in a convenience shop before as well as a cafe and restaurant in Manchester and Liverpool. I have also experience as a babysitter. I can work long hours and I am quick on my feet. I can work physically and I learn new things quickly.
