Hello!

I grew up in Colorado Springs Colorado. I currently live in Austin Texas and have been in Texas for almost 10 years now. I have been a model and an actor for about 3 years! I love to meet other cultures and be enriched in what makes us all unique and together. I have traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten, some of which have been through work abroad programs. I have heard of the Workaway program for years but now I'm signed up and ready to go! I hope that I can be a good fit for your home and add tremendous value as a worker and a friend.

I speak English fluently as my native language. I have been learning Spanish for a few years now. I am conversational, but need some more work in my grammar structure and vocabulary. I've spend some time learning on how to learn languages best and most effectively. I have read Fluent Forever, used the Pimsleur language learning system, and currently use Anki for flash card vocabulary.

What else ...

I am someone who genuinely has so many interests that I feel there is not enough time in a single day.

I have been practicing and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about 10 years. I am currently a model and actor. I have been bartending for a few years now and like to make new cocktails. I have cooked in a restaurant setting for about 4 years, but I love to experiment and learn new cooking styles on my own at home. My most recent home cooking experimentation has been with Mexican food. I have studied and competed in memory competitions where we compete on who can memorize various bits of information. This was a fun time in my life and I love teaching people ways that they can drastically improve their memory. I love watching new films and playing video games. I love the time of the year when the Oscar nominations are listed so that I can watch them all before the awards ceremony. I love to stay active in the gym and play all kinds of different sports including basketball, and football. I love to read both fiction and nonfiction. I'm currently reading Harry Potter. The last nonfiction book that I read was called Outlive by Peter Attia. This gave me a TON of information on how to remain healthy for longevity. Spending time learning with different cultures is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I want to learn country and salsa dancing, play the piano and drums, and learn some kickboxing here in the near future :)
