Hello!

I'm Olly. I'll be heading to France in the beginning of March with hopes to see more of the country and culture, as well as gain more experience travelling. I have a desire to travel further into Europe, maybe into Italy and Slovenia, but to be honest I haven't planned that far ahead yet. I've always wanted to go to the far East so I'm hoping my travels in Europe will give me a bit more experience before I head off to India a few months later.

I'm a hard worker when a job needs to be done, but I do like a laugh as well. Ideally I want to be meeting people who aren't dead serious and like a joke as much as I do. I've had a few jobs, the most significant being the 3 months I spent on a farm working full-time feeding and caring for the animals, whilst also doing gardening (both maintenance and landscape).

I've always been fairly creative. Music is my main passion, although I also enjoy writing and attempting to create art when I'm not practicing my bass and writing music. I take pleasure in being outside and have a real interest and love for nature.

My experience gardening taught me..
Gardening maintenance being : trimming hedges, strimming, cutting grass, weeding, leaf clearing.
Landscape gardening: Building garden beds, planting (small plants, hedges, trees).

On the farm I learnt about...
Livestock care: how much and what to feed, maintaining good conditions of both animals and their homes (the art of mucking up), herding and controlling livestock, treating health problems.

I also learnt a few handy skills such as building and maintaining fences and log splitting. Outside of doing manual stuff I'm pretty decent with computers and I like to think I know my way around guitars (fixing/setups as well as playing them).

I'm pretty sporty and always played football and rugby while growing up. After gaining an interest in martial arts I started practicing Wing Chun and have done so for around 3 years.
