Heya :)
We're Nico and Lena, a couple from Luxembourg and Italy. We both met while volunteering at a permaculture project in Belgium in autumn 2023 and have since travelled around Europe, working and volunteering in different places. Over the winter we were both living and working together in beautiful Lapland in the north of Sweden, but as the season is now sadly coming to an end, we're looking to continue our travels :)
Nico:
Over the years, I’ve been lucky to travel quite a bit, and have volunteered on small farms and homesteads all across Europe, taking care of animals, helping with eco-building, and getting my hands dirty in gardens and fields. I also spent a full season working on an organic vegetable farm back home in Luxembourg, so I’ve got plenty of experience when it comes to farming and gardening. I’m also very passionate about sustainability, protecting the natural world, and living communally and love working outdoors in the fresh air, and I'm always keen to learn new skills and help out with whatever is needed.
Lena:
Hey, I can sew clothes from scratch and have worked for a sustainable fashion label before going travelling. I also love doing crochet, knitting and creating my own clothes and finding new ways to express my creativity. So if you need any help with sewing work or mending old clothes, I would love to help or if you have any art projects such as painting, I could help with that as well. Since I started travelling last year, I stayed at different eco-projects and permaculture farms in Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and France where l learned a lot about gardening, eco-building and diy work but I would really love to learn more! Ohh and I also love cooking, especially for other people :)Interests

More details about your skills
Between the two of us we have quite a bit of experience in gardening, staying on farms and taking care of animals and we've both done a bit of carpentry (but would definitely love to learn more!) and we've helped out with different ecological building projects, mostly working with cob. Nico also used to work at a community cafe, helping out on the bar and with their bookshop as well as having worked at hostels, campsites and bars. Lena also has a lot of experience as a seamstress and is very talented when it comes to anything related to making or mending clothes.
We both also really enjoy cooking and have cooked for groups of up to 40 people before.
We speak a few languages as well and have done lessons with friends before, so if anyone wants to learn some German, French, Italian or Luxembourgish we can give that a go :)Age
29 & 22
