Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile!
I, Nick, have a passion for helping people, playing music, and working in nature. I was raised living simply, and enjoy nature as much as possible. However, The older I got and busier I got in life, the further I ended up drifting from this idea.
I am looking to learn more sustainable ways of living. I am hard working and always willing to help out. I am a quick learner and am eager to find solutions to any problems you may have. I graduated from college with a degree in civil engineering and a minor in math. For 3 years I worked in this field as a bridge engineer. This, however, is not something that I am passionate about. Soni quit!
I spent 7 years in Hawaii living off grid and learning farming, carpentry and other handyman skills. I have built many things , from houses to cabins, decks and cabinets, and even some simple furniture. I learned to create and fix things by reusing what we had and wasting as little as possible.
The last 2 years I have been traveling more and current reside in Korea with my partner.
I hope I can help you in your day to day tasks, and in turn learn as much as I can from you.
We love to travel and broaden our knowledge by learning new things. We enjoy living close to nature and find ourselves happiest when we are learning and experiencing life. Although we have tried having desk jobs, we were left feeling unfulfilled. We find that our values align with a yoga mindset.

What else ...
If you are still interested, I will elaborate on a few things from my recently gained knowledge. I worked on an aquaponics lettuce farm. Here I learned about the aquaponics process, as well as working on general land care/maintenance.
From here I worked at an Airbnb where I cleaned rooms, checked in guests, and again did lawn care/ maintenance.
After that adventure I worked on a farm that also built tiny homes. When I wasn't helping in the construction of tiny homes, I did carpentry projects, as well as caring for a variety of animals and plant life. I performed routine maintenance on a solar energy system and water catchment system
Through out all of this I have been gaining more knowledge and respect of the big island and all of its inhabitants
