Hello, I'm Nahia, a young woman from the Basque Country. I have registered on workaway to broaden my horizons, meet people and explore new places.
I have studied to be a coastal skipper and so far I have worked as a sailor in the Cantabrian Sea. This business was related with tourism so i have some experience in that kind of jobs. Also worked as a snorkeling monitor with children.
I am motivated to explore and exchange cultures.
I consider myself hard-working and friendly, used to working in a group.
I consider myself a cheerful woman that try to do her best. As all humans I'm not perfect but I try to do my work as well as possible

As I said before, I have a sailing background, but I can handle almost anything. I have worked in front of the public, both as a sailor and as a waitress. I like animals, handicrafts, DIY, painting....
I'm not the best in sports but so far my favourites have been poledance and freediving.
Summary, I'm really interested into life onboard or activities related to maritim skills or maintainance. Weather could be a problem but I'm pretty sure i could handle it.
