Hey! My name´s Míša and I am an experienced and passionate traveler from Czech Republic. My adventures have already taken me to many places including North America, Asia, Africa and all over Europe.

In 2023 I finished my bachelor degree at the university and I have given myself some gap time before I decide what I wannna do next. Right now I am solo-exploring the world and taking all the crazy adventures that come! Through workaway I want to find places and opportunities where I can try new things, meet people from different cultures, learn a lot of useful skills, challenge my limits and see beautiful new corners of the world.

I have already been workawaying in Iceland -(working in a family guesthouse as a maid, receptionist and cook) and Sweden (working as a dogsledding guide).

I am an introverted and sensitive person, I LOVE nature and I find myself happiest far from the crowded party places at the untouched parts of the world. I am not a city person and honestly I am more lost in a city than I am in a forest or mountains. I don´t like rushing through places to see as much as I can, but rather I like to stay at one place for longer time to dive deeper and really get to know the vibe, the natural wonders, the local people and culture. I value deeply my personal space, but at the same time I love meeting new people and enjoy meaningful conversations, experience & stories sharing and of course having fun. I am a communicative, intiative person who is used to working both in a team and with people. I studied International social work and humanitarian assisstance which included lot of team projects, I worked at children camps as an instructor; and I also worked full time in small teams - in an espresso bar as a waitress & barista, in a guesthouse as a housekeeping maid, a receptionist & a cook; and in a husky kennel as a musher & dogsledding guide.

Besides that, I am very adventurous person who enjoys outdoors very much. That includes sports and adreanline activities, of which my very favorites are hiking & trekking in the mountains and forests, skiing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, cycling, climbing, swimming and horseriding. And I am eager to try as many new things of this kind as possible!

I am an enthusiastic photographer as well. I find childlike joy in taking pictures of the beautiful wild nature that our Earth hides - I can´t imagine any of my travel adventures without my camera. You can find me sharing my photos & adventures on Instagram as @wanderbreathlessly.

There are many things that bring me joy... except traveling, outdoors and photography, I looove cooking and baking good quality food, drinking good coffee and making a good coffee as well; I like creating, making videos from my adventures, listening to good stories and listening to music, learning new languages, sharing my experiences, and I am happy anywhere around animals, especially doggies and horses.

In addition, I have a lot of experience with children. Since 15 years old, almost every summer I worked as an instructor at children camps, where I usually prepared some artistic programe for the children. I also had the opportunity to work as a Czech-English translator at the camps few times. Except the experience in my home country, I have a great experience from abroad - in 2022 I spent 3 months in an orphanage in Tanzania, where I also worked with children. I went there as a student on internship, as it was an obligatory part of my studies. That experience was kind of craziness and not all rainbows and unicorns, but I can tell it was a really enriching and beautiful one that has taught me a lot about myself & people.

But, exactly because having so much experience with children, I would like to try something different through workaway.

I wonder what my next adventure will be! I can´t wait to meet you! :)
