I’m now 66 years old but don’t let that put you off. I’m a former professional football,became a bricklayer and then joined the police where I served for 30 years. I’m extremely fit and since retirement 7 years ago from the Police I have travelled with HelpX every winter abroad and occasionally in the UK during the autumn. I can do most DIY jobs as well as bricklaying and have renovated 2 of my own houses. I love gardening and can turn my hand to most things .I have about 12 excellent reviews but all on HelpX - I’m joining Workaway as well because there’s more host choices..
I’m a non-smoker,eat anything and very low maintenance with a full driving licence.I could just as easily book a holiday every winter,but it’s been my lifestyle choice to help people as I’m in a very fortunate position ,health wise and skill wise to do so. Just tell me what you want doing,leave me too it and it will be done. I love hiking,keeping fit and I’m a keen football and golfer.
I am a father of 3 and have 4 grandchildren,so I’m quite used to having children around and I also walk 2 of my children’s dogs.
