Hello!!
My name is Michelle and I am 18 years old. I have always known that the second I turn 18 I wanted to travel the world and get to know all kinds of people and cultures and help people in any way I could . Ultimately being a teacher is my passion. I love the freedom and curiosity of children and I would love to keep a childlike nature forever. I think lots of children are raised to believe they aren’t good enough and I think it’s so important for self love to be taught from a very young age. I’m currently taking a Gap year and have a place confirmed in university to study to become a primary school teacher.
I have been solo travelling Europe for about a month now and the experiences and connections I have made across Europe have been magical! Pushing myself out of my comfort zone has taught me so much about myself and life. But I have only been to each country for a few days at a time and haven’t been able to really immerse myself in new cultures and different ways of thinking so I have joined Workaway in the hopes of getting an even deeper knowledge of the world and people around me. I am very interested in faith and religion and would love to learn more. My passion is music and drama I have been singing and dancing on the stage for as long as I remember. I ADORE trying new foods,I’m not allergic to anything and I’m open to EVERYTHING. I love to organise and clean things and I’m a little bit of perfectionist but the more I learn about myself the more I see that sometimes it’s okay to let things go wrong or not the way I planned. I am learning to play guitar and I am ALWAYS singing…
I live in England right at the border before Scotland but I was raised in a polish speaking home. I am very flexible with how long I can stay for.I’m so excited to really serve and help in anyway that I can. I currently only want to explore Europe but someday I will expand every more😊

I am fluent in Polish and English and would love to learn more languages.
I love to cook but currently my expertise is pasta, learning new recipes is something I’m very interested in.
I play the guitar and have led lots of Kids choirs and drama groups. I have also volunteered in lots of primary schools so I have worked with children from ages 3-14 for a while.
I recently completed a course as a youth leader for kids camps which was an amazing opportunity and a great way to learn about safeguarding and different ways children learn, play and think.
I LOVE to rollerblade and read. I’m currently reading the bible which is taking me a long time but I love to learn and explore things that are bigger than me.

I love to play uno and I adore the beach. Animals bring me joy and deep conversations about the psychology of our minds really interest me.
