Hi !
We are a french couple travelling since March 2023 ! We have started by travelling in South Africa and Botswana and then we settled for 8 months in Zambia where we were both project managers for a french NGO (Max was working on education and conservation with children and Felicie was working as a veterinary doctor with small cattle farmers in a remote area). We were thrilled to live in a bush camp just on the side of the Kafue National, blessed with nature and wildlife everyday!
Travelling for us doesn't mean only checking touristic places on our bucket list, we love spending time with local people and share cultures and ideas. We are also happy to get out of our comfort zone sometimes, and to be challenged! We love learning new skills and we are hardworkers.
Our plan for 2024 is to travel among South America, but we are very free on our schedule and can adapt our plans !

We are interested in learning spanish as we wish to visit many spanish speaking country in South America ! We do not have any particular language teaching skills since it is not our profession but we are always happy to try and share!

Félicie :
I'm a french veterinary doctor for cattle, cats and dogs. I can say that I am very comfortable handling and caring about animals. I love sharing with people I meet on the way, for me the people I meet travelling is the memories that stay in my mind the most ! I speak English French and Portuguese fluently and I can understand Spanish but I'm working hard on learning how to speak it nicely ! (for now it's portuñol..)
I love learning new skills sharing what I know. I love being outside and nature is an inspiration for me : I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty (gardening, building, etc)
I am comfortable around children and like to play with them
I love cooking for a lot of people since I grew up in a big family !
I am creative and hardworking and I love to feel that I'm usefull in any task ! :)
Maxime :
I was working in restaurants for almost 10 years, mostly has a waiter but also has a bartender. I do know how to handle the pressure during the service and I’m really confortable with every type of customer. I only speak french and english (actually trying my best to speak in Spanish) but I always find a way to make myself understandable with a large smile !
I also worked has a landscaper and I do love gardening. I’m not afraid with "big muddy tasks".
I’m always interested into making things working better and I can spend hours trying to fix something.
In Zambia I was a project manager for the Education & Conservation program of an NGO, there I learned how to manage people, time and a bit of accounting. I already knew I had a good contact with children but I never could have imagined that one day I would become the "cool teacher" !
