Hi there!
I’m an adventurous and sociable traveller currently on a two-month journey around Australia. Originally from France, I now live in the UK, where I work as an ecologist. My goal in Australia is to immerse myself in the incredible landscapes of Queensland, connect with new people, and contribute to local projects while soaking in the culture, spotting wildlife, and enjoying outdoor adventures.

What I Bring to Your Project
I’m enthusiastic, and hands on on all projects, and I’ve built up a variety of skills over the years that I’d love to share:

🛠️ DIY and Practical Help
Experience restoring two homes, including painting, tiling, and general repairs.
Built two guest cabins (largely from recoop), so I’m handy with tools and happy to help with woodworking or small construction tasks.
🌱 Gardening and Outdoor Work
A competent gardener from a year employed as a wildlife gardener in Scotland. Comfortable with weeding, planting, and general garden maintenance.
Passionate about creating spaces that encourage biodiversity—whether it’s building birdhouses or planting native flowers.
🧸 Childminding
Energetic, patient, and great with kids! I’ve looked after children as a uni job, in family and friend circles and enjoy creative activities, outdoor play.
🍳 Cooking
I love cooking for others and can whip up delicious meals, especially inspired by my French roots. I’m always excited to share recipes or learn new ones.
🦜 Wildlife Enthusiast
With my background working in ecology, I’m always thrilled to spot and identify wildlife, particularly birds and plants. Happy to share knowledge or help set up eco-friendly projects.
