  • Description

Hi, i'm Matteo from Italy, I love meeting people from all over the world, visiting them, and to travel. I love nature, animals and being outdoor as much as sports and beautiful conversations. I'm a very quiet guy but energetic too and ready to learn about new cultures and new jobs, with a lot of curiosity about immerging myself in different lifestyles. I'm in Australia now and it would be amazing for me to learn about the real Australian culture and to visit the country and his beautiful nature.

I'm good at manual jobs, from gardening to repairing things, and I really like it! Being outdoor, and immerse in nature is my thing, definitely. I graduated in a scientific school in Pavia, northern Italy, where I was born and I'm from. Following my passions, i started studying "Natural Science" at the University of Pavia, and continued my studies for 2 years. Right now I've paused my studies for travelling for a period and that's why I am in Australia for. In the last 2 years, before leaving Italy I've worked in two different sectors: the first, as a worker in two pharmaceutical industries; the second, as all-round assistant in a sport complex, where my job was to care about childrens from 10 to 3 years old. Some of the main tasks included changing chlotes, doing baths, guiding them inside the complex, and, most important, conforting them in their crises after leaving the mum. This was the job around the swimming pool lessons, other duties were to care them in activities like birthday parties or simple recreation, playing with them. I love babies!
Some years ago I had a volunteering experience at an animal shelter in Pavia, Italy. In a year and a half I had the possibility to discover my passion about dogs, and animals in general, and to lear a lot of our best friends, including how to control some of their behaviours and how to behave with the special ones, who had been victim of heavy trauma by the hands of humans. This experience led me to take on a part-time job, which i did continuously for about 2 years: the dog sitter. I have a true love for animals and nature and I hope that I will make my work out of that one day.
