Hi there !
My name is Mathilde and i am a 25 years old french girl. I grew up in the mountains of the alps and still live there as a full time ski instructor and coach. I also used to be a pilot but can not fly anymore, that's a long story i'll tell you about if we have the pleasure to meet ! ;)
This is not my first time using workaway, i did a one year trip all around the globe a few years back but i did it as a couple, so now it will be my first time as a solo traveller and i couldn't be more excited.
I worked many different jobs and have a few diplomas but really what matters i think is that i am extremely motivated and eager to learn just about anything. Whatever you want me to do, if you show me how to do it, i will be happy to do so.
About my hobbies i just love nature and being outside, i am very sporty because i am a retired athlete and just couldn't stop doing sport. Honestly i enjoy many things and i am open to anything, i think i just love life in general.
Finally i just want to say that i can't wait to meet new people, i would say that i am quite easy going and extraverted !

More details about my language interests
As far as i can remember i always wanted to speak a second language, i just loved to learn different words, different sounds, different swear words even ! I mastered english pretty early thanks to school but mostly thanks to my travels. I now use english daily in my work with people from all around the world. It can get a bit rusty sometimes but so does my french when i am tired ! One of my main goal in life would be to master a third language, it doesn't really matter which one i am always excited to learn new things. I also love to teach french or english to people that to learn !

We might be young but we're both very independants since we take care of ourselves and mind our business alone, so we know about cleaning, cooking, laundry, sense of responsability...
More specifically, we both have our French High School's diploma. Mathilde got a scientific's one and Leo a social and economic's one.
Leo also is in formation to get his moutain leader diploma but already can work as it. Moreover, he currently is a Nordic ski teacher. Finally, he worked in Finland during two month in a sled dogs kennel, so he knows how to do hands works, build stuff, take care of animals, and adapt himself in various situations.
About Mathilde's skills, since she is younger she doesn't has any specific diplomas. But she did summer jobs such as a cleaning lady and a kitchen clerk. She also has a sense of adaptation since she did a lot of adventures such as a big transatlantic last summer without any knowledge in navigation.
To conclude we should say that we both know how to use computers, internet, technologicals things, we both love childrens and animals, and we think that our strenghts are mainly our capacities to adapt and to be independant.
