Hi there!!
We are Pieter and Margot, a Dutch-Belgian couple looking for meaningful connections all over the world :-)

As an enthusiastic 26-year-old woman, I enjoy social activities and learning new skills. I spend my free time training with my hockey team, painting (acrylics), crafting with beads and chores around the house. I grew up in the Belgian countryside where I helped in my parents' garden quite often. As a student I worked in hospitality (restaurant) and after graduating, I worked for two years as a political affairs officer in The Hague. I volunteer at a retirement home every Wednesday.

-> I have skills in social media marketing, storytelling, website maintenance (drupal) and photography (with Iphone).
-> I have experience with kids (summer camps) and cooking/hospitality.

Pieter, my partner, is a 32-year-old kitesurfer with the personality of a golden retriever. He is extremely kind, sociable and involved. Pieter is always in for an adventure and will make you laugh 100%! He works as a legal advisor for a Dutch municipality.

-> Pieter has skills in legal advice (Privacy), Kitesurfing and gardening
-> Pieter had experience with children (3 year-old niece), cooking and self improvement/meditation.

We are both very active people who enjoy learning about other cultures and languages. We think that we can best achieve getting to know new people through workaway and that's why we're here! We are planning to take a gapyear from september 2025-june 2026. Looking forward to meeting you!

We both grew up helping around the house with considerable gardens to maintain. Pieter is an excellent cook (I am too but I am more of a freestyler, haha). We enjoy being outside and helping wherever we can. We both have experience with painting simple furniture or inside walls. We enjoy crafts and are actively looking to learn Spanish. Pieter has a 3-year-old cousin whom we babysit often and I have experience as a scouting leader for two years (the kids were 13-14 years old).

We are a very open couple!
