Description
Hello! We are Guillaume and Marie-Lou, two 26 years old currently travelling across South America for four months, discovering new cultures and beautiful landscapes. We decided to do this trip after the end of our studies, marking the end of an important chapter of our lives, and the beginning of a new, exciting one!
Guillaume is a franco-canadian engineer from Montréal, Canada. While being good working behind a desk, he loves being active and enjoys being in the outdoors. In the summer, you can find him tending to his garden, going on hikes or running along the canal close to his home.
As for Marie-Lou, she is a franco-spanish, whose sensibility and passion for the environment, pushed her towards a career helping populations impacted by climate change in Canada. She is most herself however when discovering new passions, being active and doing manual activities such as pottery, sewing and much more!
We love meeting new people and sharing moments around a good meal, a beer or both! We are excited to hear from you. Cheers!

In addition to the technical skills we have acquired during our time at University, we have other skills that can be useful for our time on Workaway.
We are both manual people. Guillaume has experience working on construction and renovation projects, while Marie-Lou has some experience in craft, such building her own furniture from scratch. Also, we have some affinity working in the outdoors. Guillaume has his own garden to which he tends to in Montréal, cultivating native vegetables and fruits. Marie-Lou has had the chance to work on a farm in Italy for two weeks, helping a local farmer with the harvest of roses, for syrups and jams.
We both have experience working in hospitality, in a café and a bar respectively. As such, we appreciate hard and demanding work, both physically and mentally, in which we thrive in.
Finally, we know four languages (fluent in three : French, English and Spanish).
